Dealing with cockroaches in your home is a very unpleasant experience. These pests are dirty, contaminate food and surfaces with faeces, and can carry diseases and cause asthma and eczema. To make things worse, they spread easily and can readily slip into your luggage on a business trip, and they reproduce quickly so a single cockroach can become an infestation very quickly.
Cockroaches are resilient and are very difficult to get rid of. Store bought chemicals aren’t strong enough and many people don’t use them properly, wasting time and money and not getting rid of the problem.

Depending on where you are having an issue with the ants will determine if you require just an internal or external ant treatment. Internally, we use a low toxic ant bait which will be placed on areas where you are seeing ant trails. Externally we will spray around the perimeter of the house.
Wipe counter-tops down, wipe under appliances to remove food scraps, wipe down any open jars of honey, syrups or sugars.
After the Treatment: It is common to continue to see ants up to 2 weeks after treatment. The ants will carry the insecticide back to the nest, if you have been provided with ant bait, please use as per technician’s instructions. If ants appeared scattered or dying the treatment is working.

The cockroach infestation will have been baited using a bait called bayer cockroach gel Bait which contains Indoxacarb or treated with one of the following insecticide sprays: Demand CS’* which contains Lambda cyhalothrin, Ficam W which contains 80% Bendiocarb w/w or K-Othrine which contains Deltamethrin. Also a powder might be used called Ficam D*. This contains an insecticide in a dust formulation @ 1% w/w Bendiocarb. All insecticides are biodegradable, almost odourless, non tainting & do not corrode or stain.
In some instances, such as heavy infestations, infestations spreading from neighboring properties, or unclean surfaces, more than one spray or bait treatment will be needed for complete control. In some cases it may be necessary to spray or bait on a monthly basis until the infestation is eradicated, especially in shared, communal or multi-occupancy buildings.
